Tonight the Robins make a midweek trip to Teeside to take on last year’s Division Two Champions.

A game which sees 6th place play host to 7th place, both teams picking up 20 points from their first 12 games.

The game will also mark a new ground for the Robins to visit, Phoenix Park the new home of Boro Rangers, located on Lacy Road, postcode TS4 3JW.

With our game at the weekend postponed, the lads will be fresh and raring to go, new signings Ben Sayer, Graham Williams and Rhys Mcleod are all available for selection as Dan Iredale and his management team having been working hard off the pitch to strengthen and more quality across the pitch.

Our hosts for the evening have been in a good vein of form of late, having picked up 10 points from their last 5 games. Last time out they were narrowly beaten at home 1-2 by West Auckland Town, despite taking the lead through Callum Hickman on the quarter of an hour mark, before the visitors secured the win with goals from William Constatin and James Harrison either side of half time.

We hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads. If you are not able to join us, updates will be available via social media @northshieldsfc
