Tomorrow the Robins welcome the Lang Jacks to the Daren Persson Stadium as Whickham are the visitor’s.

Both teams were involved in action during midweek, our visitor’s played hosts to West Allotment Celtic, Allotment winning the contest 2-1, goals from Damen Mullen and Alfie Livermore gave them a 2-0 lead before Jordan Lavery reduced the deficit from the penalty spot with a quarter of an hour to play.

The Robins were on the road as they made the short trip to Scotswood to take on Newcastle Blue Star, a first league meeting between the two sides since 2003, Ryan Carr gave the Robins a deserved leave after 15 minutes as they made the brighter start, missed chances became costly as the hosts drew level on the hour mark, Liam Henderson finishing off a neat move. Both teams had opportunities to take all 3 points but neither side were able to capitalize.

When the two sides met at the Daren Persson Stadium last season, the Robins ran out 3-0 winners, a brace from Ben Harmison after Dean Holmes got the opener securing the points.

We hope that you can join us for the game and cheer on the lads, if not you can follow us on our social media channels @northshieldsfc for updates.
