Welcome to North Shields FC, what are your thoughts since joining the side?

I am delighted to Join North Shields. I’ve known Nashy since I was a kid and when I was introduced to Woody I instantly clicked with him. I’m looking forward to being local to my family and just enjoying my football. Everyone I have spoke to have said how well the club is ran and these are people I trust.

You have experience of playing higher up the pyramid – how can that be beneficial for NSFC?

I think I can bring my experience on and off the pitch to help the side and ensure we are all pulling in the same direction. This ties in to the next question, as I feel I can be alongside the current experienced players to ensure things are being done correctly but all feed off the enthusiasm of the younger lads which can only be a good mix!

What are your ambitions for team the upcoming season?

My ambition is to go in to every game making sure we are there to win. Then move on to the next game giving 100% each and every time. Once I have met up with the squad then I will see what the targets are but I think that will be something that will be kept in house.

Please join us in welcoming Connor to NE29.
