North Shields FC are delighted to welcome Luke Carr to the squad on a dual registration from Heaton Stannington.
An accomplished attacking midfielder, Carr brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the team. Operating predominantly in the number 10 role, he offers a potent attacking threat with his ability to score goals and provide assists.
Carr’s career has been marked by success at every level, having lifted league titles and earned promotions with clubs such as Morpeth Town, Consett, and Newcastle Blue Star. No stranger to the big stage, he has twice played at Wembley Stadium in FA Vase finals, lifting the trophy on one of those occasions.
He joined Dunston ahead of the 2023/24 season, becoming the first signing under manager Jon McDonald helping them to reach the Northern Premier League East Division play-off final where they narrowly missed out on promotion after a penalty shoot-out defeat to Stockton. Signed for Heaton Stannington in June this year and now links up with the Robins on a dual with the Northern Premier League East side as part of the 2025/26 campaign.
