HALF TIME: REDCAR TOWN 0 – 2 NORTH SHIELDS
A dominant first half from the Robins, the hosts providing very little threat but when they did, the Robins defence stood strong, great attacking play going forward, which could have seen another one or two goals before the break, but the Robins would have to settle for just the two goals at the break.
A Substitution for the Robins shortly after the restart saw Dean Holmes replace Lewis Suddick.
The host’s with a strong start to the second half, knowing that if they were to get back into the game they have to go on the attack.
A penalty shout for the hosts was waved away by the match official, the Redcar player going down inside the area, under pressure from Lough but not enough in it for the match official to give the foul.
Moments later, another shout for a foul on the hosts was waved away by the match official, this time on the edge of the area.
