As away days go, tomorrow is one of the shortest trips that Brian Smith’s side will have to make as we travel to Palmersville to take on West Allotment Celtic.
Midweek action saw the Robins entertain Penrith at the Daren Persson Stadium, victorious in the process with a 3-2 over the Bonny Blues, a Ryan Carr brace and a Lee Mason late winner securing the points and continuing the unbeaten start to the campaign.
Our hosts, who find themselves sitting in 20th place, having picked up 1 point from their opening 3 games were also in midweek action, when they hosted league leaders Redcar Athletic who ran out 6-2 winners, Damen Mullen and Alfie Livermore with the goals for Allotment.
When the two sides met last season, it ended in a 0-0 draw when the Robins visited the East Palmersville Sports Pavilion, in the return fixture, Allotment ran out 2-0 winners and also beat the Robins 2-1 in the Northumberland Senior Cup.
