Current League Position: 8th

Tonight we welcome Crook Town to the Daren Persson Stadium in our final home game of the 2024/25 season.

Our visitors for tonight’s game leapfrogged the Robins at the weekend, courtesy of a 3-0 win over Seaham Red Star at the Sir Tom Cowie Stadium, a brace from Josh McDonald after Sonni Colemen opened the scoring securing the points.

The Robins fell to defeat at the weekend on the road at Guisborough Town, a bright start from the Robins undone by the hosts as they took the lead on the quarter of an hour mark through Joseph Smith, Brian Smith’s side hit back almost immediately when Dean Holmes latched onto Nelson Ogbewe’s parried effort. The hosts retook the lead on the stroke of half time, Jason Blackburn with a composed finish to give the Priorymen the 3 points.

It was back in October when the two sides, a contest which saw the Black and Ambers pick up the win, Ben Trotter and Craig Moody gave them a two goal buffer, before Jamie Holmes fired in a late lifeline but it was too little too late.

We hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads, if not, you can follow the action as it happens via our live match updates @northshieldsfc
