North Shields Football Club would like to release a further statement to the one made on Wednesday 22nd March.
We can announce that on Friday, 31st March, we informed the FA and the League that we have secured the target funds needed to proceed with our stadia improvements grant application, enabling us to complete all work necessary for Step 4 ground grading.
Today (Tuesday 4th April), we as a club along with secondary parties informed the inspection team of these developments.
Ultimately, the final decision will lie with the FA taking into account our submissions of intent. We would like to thank all of the crowd funders who donated and contributed to our target.
The club will be making no further comment on this matter for the meantime.
