North Shields FC are delighted to announce the arrival of seven new signings as we continue to shape a competitive squad for the upcoming campaign. The latest additions bring a blend of experience, energy, and quality to the Daren Persson Stadium.
🔴 Callum Elliott – Goalkeeper

We welcome the return of Callum Elliott, a talented young goalkeeper who re-joins the Robins from West Allotment Celtic. The 21-year-old made an immediate impression as Allotment’s number one after his debut in July 2024. A composed and confident presence between the sticks, Callum has also played for Newcastle Blue Star and Percy Main Amateurs and previously featured for North Shields came through the ranks of North Shields Juniors.
🔴 Blair Adams – Left Back

Highly experienced left-back Blair Adams joins us from National League North side Darlington where he left NE29 for during last season. Blair’s professional career began in 2010 and includes over 300 senior appearances, including spells with Brentford, Coventry City, Mansfield Town, Cambridge United, and Gateshead. With over 100 English Football League games to his name, Blair brings leadership and top-level experience back to the Robins, having briefly played for the club before.
🔴 Callum Ross – Midfielder

Dynamic midfielder Callum Ross arrives at North Shields following an impressive spell with Spennymoor Town. Previously a key figure at South Shields, Callum also enjoyed a successful stint in the US, playing for Charlotte Independence and Oklahoma City Energy. Known for his composure, technical ability, and midfield leadership, Ross will be an exciting figure to watch in the heart of our side. A huge impact signing.
🔴 Brandon Slater – Winger

We’re thrilled to secure the signing of Brandon Slater, a pacy and hardworking winger formerly of Gateshead, Billingham Synthonia, and Ashington. Brandon netted over 30 goals two seasons ago and is known for his explosive speed, relentless work rate, and ability to play on the right or through the middle. His attacking intent will be a huge asset to the team.
🔴 Matty Nelson – Forward

Exciting forward Matty Nelson joins from AFC Newbiggin, where he captained the side and terrorised defences with his nimble footwork. Matty is a skilful, unpredictable attacker who can beat defenders both inside and outside, and his flair and creativity will bring a new dimension to our attack. Matty featured for The Robins last season.
🔴 Stephen Hall – Striker

Powerful frontman Stephen Hall arrives with a strong reputation in Northern League Division One. Formerly of Whickham AFC and more recently with The Hoops, Hally is a classic target man who excels in hold-up play and aerial duels. His physical presence and proven goal-scoring ability make him an exciting addition.
🔴 Regan Patterson – Forward

We are delighted to welcome back Regan Patterson, who re-signs for the Robins from local rivals Whitley Bay. Regan previously made 59 appearances for North Shields, scoring 20 goals, including a memorable wonder goal from the halfway line against Grimsby. A quick, dynamic, and hard-working attacker with a sharp eye for goal, Regan is no stranger to our supporters and management team.
💬 Manager’s Thoughts :

“We’re absolutely delighted with the quality and character of the players we’ve brought in. Each of them brings something unique, whether it’s experience, leadership, energy or creativity. We’ve worked hard to build a squad that reflects our ambitions, and we can’t wait to see them in action.”
