North Shields FC are delighted to announce the signing of 17-year-old Jake Lish from Gateshead FC.
Jake joins the Robins after progressing through the Gateshead Academy, where he currently features for the club’s U19s side. Earlier this season, he was rewarded for his progress with a place on the first-team bench and made his senior debut for Gateshead against Sunderland U21s just two weeks ago.
Before joining Gateshead, Jake came through grassroots football with Durham Quakies and represented Spennymoor Town U17s, where he helped his side lift the County Cup last season.
Comfortable playing as a central midfielder or forward, Jake brings energy, versatility, and attacking intent to the Robins’ squad as he takes his next step in senior football.
