Robbie Livermore Leaves. 26/05/2010 21:01
Robbie Livermore today signed for West Allotment Celtic. He was offered the chance to join a club playing at a higher level and the management team decided it was in the best interests of North Shields Football Club and the player that no attempt was made to retain his services. Robbie had a good season for The Robins last term and finished 2nd top scorer but with injuries and discontent shown over the lack of fixtures over Christmas Robbie’s desire to move on was no secret. All involved with Shields wish him well.
Player Manager Anthony Woodhouse has 4-6 players on the verge of signing all with vast Northern League 1 experience and some with Unibond. The squad is in the process of being strengthened in all departments as Woody looks to take the team beyond last years 6th place finish.

2009/10 Awards Evening. 21/05/2010 12:32
The 2009/10 North Shields Football Club took place at Tynemouth Unionist Club on Thursday 20th May. The following awards were made:
Supporters “Player of the Year”: Femi Akinbolu
Golden boot (top scorer): Andy Hay
Clubman of year: Joe Cave
George "Bomber" Thompson “Player of the Year”: Femi Akinbolu
Players “Player of the year”: Brian Smith (picked up by Robbie Livemore)
The club would like to thank all those that attended in particular Club President Malcolm MacDonald and 69 Cup heroes Ron Tatum and Ray Wrightson.
Unfortunately Chairman Alan Matthews was unable to attend due to a back injury sustained in the lead up to the event and it was left to club treasurer Mike Taylor to take up the mantle which he did an accomplished job doing.

The 2009/10 Presentation night is to be held on Thursday 20th May. The evening will start at 7.30pm at the "The Borough Of Tynemouth Unionist Club" on Albion Road in the town. All are welcome to attend (including WAG's!) and food will be laid on. Players and team management, club officials, sponsors and season ticket holders are admitted free. For all others £3 will be charged on entry.
Club President Malcolm McDonald will be at the event to present the seasons awards. Former Newcastle player Tommy Cassidy will also be present along with Shields hero's Ron Tatum and Ray Wrightson.

We at North Shields Football Club are keen to promote the club in the local area and win back some of the support lost over the last 20 years. We are very keen to promote our club in the town and we're looking to forge a relationship with local pubs. We’re planning a “Robins Boozers” section in our match day programme. Our affiliated pubs will get:
1. A North Shields FC Club scarf to hang behind the bar.
2. A North Shields FC car\window sticker.
3. ½ price entry tickets & club poster every 2 months of the football season.
