Glen Taylor. 31/12/2009 15:11
After a successful loan period Glen Taylor has now returned to Ashington and will play out the remainder of the season in Nothern League 1. Glen scored 4 times in his 6 starts with The Robins and proved to be popular both on and off the pitch.
Glen has also been awarded the December player of the month award for the second month running by manager Anthony Woodhouse.
All at North Shields FC wish Glen luck on his return to Ashington and hopefully some day soon Glen will once more be wearing the red of North Shields.
Fixture Changes. 31/12/2009 15:05
North Shields FC have two fixture changes to announce.
The away Team Northumbria game that was postponed on Boxing Day has now been re-arranged for TUESDAY 19th JANUARY with a 7.30pm kick off.
The home Northern League 2 fixture against Washington which was to be played on Saturday 16th January has now been brought forward to FRIDAY 15th JANUARY and kick off will be 7.30pm.

Anthony Lowther Retires. 27/12/2009 20:25
As some of you may have seen on the forum Anthony Lowther has decided to retire from the non-league scene.
Anthony had expressed his intentions a couple of weeks ago and despite taking some time to finalise his decision he has now confirmed his intention to spend his Saturday afternoons with his young family and Jeff Steling.
All at North Shields wish Anthony luck in the future and he'll always be welcome at Ralph Gardner Park.
Manager Anthony Woodhouse has also confirmed the signing of Andy McBride from Team Northumbria and we all wish him luck at The Robins.

The boxing day fixture away at Team Northumbria has been postponed. The next game is a home fixture against Darlington RA on Saturday 2nd January 2010.
